Points Program Policy

Effective Date: 18th July 2023

This Points Program Policy (“Policy”) governs the earning, redemption, and return of points on BarklanePets.com (“Website”). By participating in the Points program, You (“Customer”) agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions set forth in this Policy. The Policy is intended to provide Customers with a clear understanding of how the Points program works and their rights and obligations under the program.

Points’ Earning:

Customers earn 1 point for every 10 Bahraini Dinars (BHD) worth of Products they purchase through the Website. The Points are applicable Only for the Value of Products purchased and Not for the Delivery Charges (wherever applicable).

Points’ Redemption:
Points can be redeemed during the checkout process Only against the Purchase Value of Products and Not against the Delivery Charges which shall always be paid by the Customer (wherever applicable) as the Delivery Charges cannot be exchanged with the Points earned.

For redeeming the Points the first time, the Customer is eligible for Points’ Redemption Only After the Total Number of Accumulated Points crosses 100. And in a particular Order, the Customer is permitted to redeem Points equivalent to a maximum of 50% of the Value of that Order.

Return Policy:

In the event of a Customer returning an item, the Points earned from the Purchase of that item will be promptly deducted from the Balance Cumulative Points that are available in the Customer’s Points program Account. All Costs associated with the Shipping of the item being returned, shall be borne by the Customer, and there shall be No Points applicable towards any Delivery Charges.

Expiration:

Points earned under this program are valid for a maximum period of 12 months from the Date of Earning those Points. That is, Points earned HAVE to be redeemed within the Validity period of 12 months. Further, in order to maintain an Active status under the Points program, the Customer must place at least One Order within a 6-month timeframe from the Date of the Previous Order, else in this scenario too the remaining Points in the Account will become null and void.

In essence, even in the case of a Customer whose status remains Active under the Points program by making regular purchases, the Points that have Not been redeemed within the 12-month Validity period will automatically be forfeited. And, in the case of those Customers whose Two Successive Orders have a time gap of more than Six Months, their Account will move to the “Not Active” status and hence the previously earned Points will be forfeited. Customers are encouraged to keep benefitting from the Points Program, by means of: 1. Earning Points through Regular Purchases, and 2. Keeping their Account Active either through regular purchases or within a maximum gap of Six Months between successive Orders.

General Provisions:

The Points Program and Return Policy are subject to change or termination without prior notice at the sole discretion of BarklanePets.com and Barklane Pets Co. WLL.

BarklanePets.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate a Customer’s participation in the program at any time, without any liabilities or responsibilities whatsoever upon BarklanePets.com.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the prevailing Laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

By using this Website and participating in the Points Program, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Policy.
